Golgi Apparatus
The Golgi apparatus between the RER and the plasma membrane consists of flattened membranous sacs filled with enzymes and other molecules. Within the Golgi apparatus, proteins and lipids produced by the ER are further modified, sorted, and packaged for export (secretion). These are packed into vesicles from transport.
