How To Manually Query (SQL), Bulk Update, Database & Change Old Site URLs To New Ones | PhpmyAdmin
In this video, I demonstrate how to manually write SQL query in PhpmyAdmin to bulk update database of your website, and update/replace all old site URLs with new ones. This is useful when you migrated a website from one domain to another. Normally, you will not be able to login to the new website after the migration if you did not use a backup plugin that does the restoration and migration simultaneously. When this happens, the only chance you have to gain access to your newly migrated website, is to replace all references to your old URLs to the new one. Even if you are on WordPress, since you can't login, you won't be able to use a plugin either. Hence, this manual method is very helpful.
