Durable, easy to work with, soft and supple - if that isn't a declaration of love for the uniquely beautiful and masterful tinsmith work on the building shells in Stechelberg and Birg! A total of 85 tonnes of sheet copper are made to measure in the two stations and pulled over them like a second skin. In order to make the tinsmith work even more efficient and, above all, more sustainable, a tinsmith's-workshop was set up at the Stechelberg valley station. Adjustments and corrections are made directly on site, which reduces additional work and extra journeys.
One thing is certain: for a tinsmith, a construction project like the SCHILTHORNBAHN 20XX is a unique project - because such an impressive construction site will not be found again so quickly.
The SCHILTHORNBAHN 20XX is making progress!
