6/8 Sounds Great - Beginner Drum Piece. Compound Time.
Play along with me as we explore a basic piece of music in 6/8 time. This means each bar of the piece contains 6 beats of a quaver each (or 6 eighth notes for you Americans) although the pulse is usually felt as 2 dotted crotchets (quarter notes) so we're counting in 3s!
