Space Engineers - Custom Retractable Landing Gear
I built a custom set of landing gear for my large-block ship by using small-blocks to build all the mechanicals and set them inside a 1x3x1 recessed cavity inside my ship's hull. I then used the new 1x2 armor slopes to mold a fairing around each gear installation.
No mods were used in this construction.
This video demonstrates the retracts alongside the typical large-gear installations that are just impractical or just plain ugly.
