Fake LP-E6N Batteries sold as authentic on Amazon
As of this writing, I could not find a single authentic LP-E6N battery on Amazon. I don't have a problem with 3rd party batteries, but these are sold labeled as authentic.
The camera recognizes them as E6, not E6N. this is important because you cannot charge LP-E6 in the camera. Plus, I paid over $100 for these fake batteries thinking they were real.
Unbelievably the seller is still selling them even though lots of people have complained and reviewed it. The batteries have a lot of good reviews presumably from people who could not tell the difference.
