In part 2 of this 2 part series, you’ll learn how to use Log Patterns to quickly create log exclusion filters and reduce the number of low-value logs you are indexing. To try this out for free for 14 days, sign up at https://dtdg.co/tips

Datadog’s Logging with Limits™ feature allows you to selectively determine which logs to index after ingesting all of your logs. Meanwhile, the Log Patterns feature can quickly isolate groups of low-value logs. The Log Patterns feature also allows you to generate search queries for these groupings of low-value logs without ever having to write queries yourself. You can then create log exclusion filters by simply pasting in these queries, allowing you to selectively forego indexing of any low-value logs of your choosing—or, if you’d prefer, you can index only a certain percentage of logs matching that query. You can read more about utilizing log exclusion filters here: https://docs.datadoghq.com/logs/index...
