Step inside Eternal Offerings: Chinese Ritual Bronzes, a special exhibition at the Minneapolis Institute of Art designed by Oscar-winning art director and film designer Tim Yip, known for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Created with Liu Yang, Mia’s curator of Chinese art, the exhibition presented about 150 ancient Chinese bronze objects from Mia’s collection. These vessels were used in rituals honoring heavenly and ancestral spirits and served as powerful symbols of status, ceremony, and devotion.
Through dramatic lighting, immersive design, and atmospheric galleries, Eternal Offerings invited visitors to experience the mystery, solemnity, and splendor of ancient Chinese ritual life.
