Dreamboat - Connie Francis (COVER)
Connie Francis is a huge part of the reason why I love singing so much. I was first exposed to her through my parents’ music collection, and the second I got my own CD player it was one of her greatest hits collections that I snuck into my room. I quickly gave that secret away by turning her gorgeous voice up as loud as I could, while still being able to hear myself singing along to her at the top of my lungs. I performed this song in my senior year in high school, in a little black velvet dress and a feather boa, whole a small group of my teachers stood behind me in their tuxes, doowopping away. They even had kazoos for the instrumental bridge 😂
Anyway, long story short, I love Connie Francis, and I love this song. Hope you enjoy it too ❤️
