The way major record labels work - they give you an advance, like you would get if you were buying your house. And then, over the years, they give you an advance on your house, but at the major record labels they pay back your advance, and then they give you an advance. But at the end of the time, when you've paid off all of the loan, instead of you now owning your house, in a record label, they would still give you a house, like you would pay back your mortgage on your house. But they give you an advance and then they distribute your advance like you would pay for distribution. And then, over the years, when you now own your house, in a record label, they would still own Hamfatter.
