The spaceship operator and the operator universe
A cautionary talk on implementing comparison operators, including changes introduced by C++20, the spaceship operator in particular. The talk will not explain in details how the spaceship operator works – some basic idea on the subject is advised for the audience.
An important part of the lecture is demonstrating how to implement comparison much better than the compiler would by default, in some cases at least.
About the speaker - Adam Badura
Adam Badura is a technical leader at Nokia. He has over 10 years of work experience, however, his passion for programming (with C++ mostly) is much older. Adam's interests are mostly the development of good software across all levels: from general design to technical details of specific implementation. His natural bent for formal things is complemented by the eagerness to share his own experience and learn from the experience of others.
