Short Description:
Body language often portrays what a person feels on the inside. In dance, the body is used as an instrument, to paint the image of domestic violence. These movements, in our video, represent the trauma that is left on women, who in their past were abused by their partners. Through this video, we tried to symbolize the pain that a lot of females face during their lives. The dancer in the video, with movements, represents the life of a girl, who in her life suffered from domestic violence. This suffering is not directly shown, but the audience can tell that this video brings sad emotions. Our goal is to raise awareness of the big number of women who are suffering from violence on a daily basis. The message we want to share through this video is that there is hope for all women. You can survive.
