With support for Snowflake queries, SnowPipes, Streamlit, stages, UDFs, and integrations with LocalStack for AWS, LocalStack for Snowflake helps data engineers and engineering leaders save 80% or more of the Snowflake cloud costs spent on their development and staging environments. In this presentation, LocalStack engineers will provide a short demonstration of LocalStack for Snowflake, including how to install and run it, usage demonstrations with sample applications, and take feature requests and questions
Waldemar Hummer
Waldemar Hummer is the co-founder and CTO of LocalStack. After developing the first version of LocalStack for AWS at Atlassian, Waldemar co-founded LocalStack GmbH with Gerta Sheganaku to bring the emulator to market. Currently, LocalStack has partnered with Apple, 3M, Disney, AWS, and many other companies to raise adoption of local-first development for various cloud-native offerings. Waldemar resides in Zurich, Switzerland.
