Copy and Paste Functionality in FreeCAD
In this FreeCAD quick tip, we demonstrate how to effectively use the Copy and Paste functionality. While copying to a clipboard is a standard feature in most software, FreeCAD offers specialized methods for handling complex objects with dependencies (parent and child relationships).
Learn how to manage the Copy Object Selection dialogue to decide whether to copy an object along with its dependencies or link the new copy back to the original base. We also cover the essential workflow for copying objects between two different FreeCAD files.
