This scam works by tricking players into buying what seems to just be a harmless little giveaway. The players will instinctively immediately buy whatever that scammer lists, unaware of how much it costs assuming it is all for cheap. After a few actual free giveaways, the scammer is most likely to put in a worthless, insanely overpriced pet. The player being unaware of the prices and just immediately buying the listed item without paying attention to the price, of course buys that overpriced pet as well. Then usually the scammer leaves instantly after someone buys their scam. Sometimes nobody buys their scam so they still leave after a couple seconds. Moral of the story if you even made it this far is: DONT FALL FOR ANYBODY WHO SAYS THEY ARE GIVING AWAY PETS UNLESS THEY ARE A TRUSTED MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY. But even so you can still get scammed SO BE AWARE.
