This was somewhat of a subliminal bucket list project I was too distracted in life to get around to until finally just recently. Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters coincidentally happens to also be from my beautiful hometown in NOVA, so the weight of responsibility to not screw this one up weighed particularly heavily on me. Especially since I consider this one of the greatest, most iconic rock songs ever written.
The great Dave Grohl’s roots are in punk rock also, so if he ever stumbles on my humble take on his beautiful anthem, I hope he approves. Rock and roll guys 🤘
**Shout out to my Apogee MiC & Hawaiian shirt dangling over my visor mirror as a pop filter for this recording for making my car sound like a vocal booth since my apartment is fun-size.
