This pepper spray has nothing to do with genuine NATO pepper spray; it's most likely made in China.
The NATO pepper spray contains CS gas. Unlike our Russian pepper sprays, which contain not only CS gas but also the OC oleorhiza capsicum, also known as red pepper extract.
During testing, the NATO pepper spray performed extremely poorly. The low output of the substance per second, as well as the short range of use of about 1 meter, makes this canister an ineffective means of self-defense; we can only recommend carrying this canister as a second additional one.
