A film about the special project "Landscapes" from the Mosaic Studio "Garnet Garden".
This film is about the creation of the MOSAIC EXHIBITION "LANDSCAPES"!
The lacy patterns of icy rivers, the iridescent spills of geothermal springs, snow-capped mountain peaks, the sparkling turquoise of the seas... The beauty of these landscape photographs of our planet takes your breath away. "What if we shaped glass into a glacier or laid out a mosaic gorge with stone?" we thought, and that's how the special project "Landscapes" was born.
We invited our students and teachers to explore the relationship between nature and humans that shapes the landscape. The most intriguing aspect was the choice of technique and materials. Marble, of course, was not spared here. Sandstone, serpentine, citrine, and even brick were also used. The result is several dozen very diverse and captivatingly beautiful works.
The exhibition is taking place in the Stables Wing of the Yusupov Palace.
