Welcome to the REST API Course! In this video we go through some introductions for the series as well as some definitions and visualizations to help prepare us for diving in to REST APIs together.
The goal of this series is to become comfortable with the ideas of servers and networking as well as building a REST API. This will carry us in to other backend related topics in the future as the fundamentals will be the focus of the videos and exercises.
This is the first backend series on the channel and I'm super excited to get to all the topics in the course!
