I've been meaning to cover this song for years and finally decided to take a stab at it! I am severely out of practice, and accomplished it start to finish in 4 or 5 days for the Dwelling of Duels December 2020. Hooray, 21st place! :P
I tried a lot of new things in this song -- oddly, my first time using edited drum loops as far as I can recall. I enjoyed cutting it up and trying to match my rhythms with the loop pieces. It's a genre that was a little bit different for me, but not super out of my comfort zone.
I'm hoping to keep it up in 2021 and make a bunch more music -- at least 1 song per month would be great! We will see what happens, but I was glad to start 2021 off with a bang with a song as strong as this one.
