Harley Benton new line up model for 2024? Got it last year via an blind order, no pictures on Thomann, only description about the specification.
This is a prototype and I really like it. Light weight, no neck diving, great sounding HBZ active pickups (no ground hum issue, only standard HBZ noise ;-)), perfect playability and feel of the roasted maple neck.
Little disappointing are the thin frets... why on earth Thomann??? It is considered to be a METAL / ROCK machine.
Anyway it's a great guitar, even if you don't have to expect manufacturing quality miracles ;-). Keep this in mind, it is a low budget instrument.
Got it with sharp fret ends, unpolished frets, bridge was not tightened, setup was worse, pickup selector switch screwed in to deep, pickup ring broken, some neck areas without clear coat, some tuners not tightened. I fixed most of the issues and now for me it is a lot of fun to play this Harley Benton Telecaster shaped active guitar. For me the design looks als unique, not a one to one copy of a Jim Root Telecaster.
