Chauvet DJ & ILS... What is it & how can you control fixtures
What's in a name... For Chauvet DJ, ILS stands for Instant Light Show. Take the dmx programming out of the equation and create a custom light show from the ILS lighting ecosystem. This video will give you a starting point of understanding what ILS is and how you can spot an ILS fixture in the wild.
If you are not into videos, here's a quick recap. If you are in search of an ILS enabled fixture to use with the ILS command or the Gigbar Move + ILS, then look for the "ILS" phrase in the product name. If it has it listed in the product name, you are ready to go. IF NOT, then that particular fixture WILL NOT, I repeat, WILL NOT work with the ILS command or Gigbar move + ILS
To control your ILS fixtures, you have two options, the first the Gigbar move + ILS utilizing the remote that comes with the fixture. The second, and my personal favorite is the ILS command.
