Why Grandpa Max Makes Ben 10: Alien Force Better
Grandpa Max is one of the best characters in Ben 10 classic as Ben’s mentor in life and superheroing. He was normally the voice of reason or source of exposition. I don’t know a single person that dislikes Max. He’s in the wholly beloved camp with uncle iroh. So when Alien Force rolls around, and he wasn’t a main character, I was concerned. Where is max is he safe is he alright. Well the pilot shows us that he was on the trial of an alien conspiracy and he wants ben to follow his footsteps and uncover this plot as well. This fleshes out his character and makes him more dynamic within the shows boundaries. It gives the show an air of mystery and it gives the new trio something to do, at least in the first few episodes until we get to max out.
