A look at the process that we use every day to find pairs for our watchlist. I (like everyone else!) have been fascinated by the emergence of the GPT models in AI. For me, the techniques behind the model are the most interesting, and in particular I think embeddings will find many uses outside of a large-language-model. In this video I show a technique using vectors created by PCA that is almost the same as how embeddings are used in the new GPT world. I will be experimenting with pushing out the use of embeddings for financial applications. If I find something good I will post it here in a YouTube video. It really is too much fun!
