Dark Souls III is an action role-playing video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. It was released to Japan in March of 2016 and worldwide in April of 2016. It immediately became Bandai Namco's fastest selling game in their history, and was critically acclaimed as a fitting end to the Dark Souls series as its fourth installment.
