UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE launched e-skUelA: the kasUbAy Learning Management System (LMS)
Due to the challenges in instruction brought by the pandemic the University of Antique launched e-skUelA: the kasUbAy Learning Management System (LMS) at UA Convention Hall on June 15, 2020.
“We have to make sure that despite the challenge of the pandemic, despite the challenge of COVID19, we could still deliver quality education that our stakeholders deserve,” said Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President.
UA stood strong amidst the global pandemic, and with the coming of the “new normal”, UA will remain the strongest educational institution in the province with the advancement of this learning platform.
e-skUelA is an open-source LMS developed by UA to address the challenge of delivering instruction without going residential or the face-to-face mode.
The platform uses the downloaded LMS, the Moodle, to migrate, manage, and track online instruction initiatives. The UA Convention Center shall be used as an e-hub and a series of training will be conducted for the faculty and staff of UA in the utilization of the e-skUelA.
