Casualty management when remotely lowering to safety. This tech tip may help to avoid obstructions and/or guide a casualty to a safe location e.g. platform, rescue boat etc. Assisted lower rescues are always preferred to accompanied descents as it is safer for the rescuer. Therefore, this method may prove useful with an incapacitated worker if a lower rescue is felt appropriate.
