I've been getting a lot of questions about this lately so I decided to go over general reverb fundamentals, what each sounds like and why they're all a bit different from one another. You'll see and hear practical applications of these in real time on a lead vocal in a Pro Tools session. There's clearly other types of reverb than these five, but I want to keep it simple by sticking to these five. I hope this helps and takes some of the mystery out using reverbs on your vocals!
