DAPHNE MAY inshore lifeboat 2008
Inshore lifeboat 'Daphne May', dedicated to champion fundraiser DAPHNE MAY LOVEGROVE. Paid for by public donations of £50,000, including a major contribution from Son, daughter-in-law and the Lovegrove family.
Hastings coxwain Martin Philips extended his thanks to the Lovegroves for their generosity and to all those who made this possible.
Following the naming and blessing ceremony, 'DAPHNE' was put through her paces and passed with flying colours!
