7/4/2019 4th July diner train
Every year the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad runs a dinner train on the 4th July to Cumbers Pass and then returns to watch the Chama fireworks. This video shows both the departure and return of this 8 car train lead by K36 488. Notice on the return that 3 open gons have been added to the back for passengers to watch the show from. Also note, the show begins promptly at 9pm so we can see the beginnings of the fireworks as the train passes the cams and by the depot on its way to the end of track.
