In this tutorial we’re using Anchor Fields to control Chaos Destruction in Unreal Engine 5.
By default, Chaos will let everything collapse the moment a mesh breaks. That might be realistic, but it’s usually not what you want.
This setup gives you control over what stays fixed and what is allowed to move, so your destruction feels intentional instead of random!
Your mesh breaks now, but if your fractured pieces look hollow or unfinished, your setup is still incomplete.
