If you're worried about spoilers then don't watch but this bit doesn't have any real spoilers just the characters talking to each other in the beginning of Episode 1
Umineko No Naku Koro Ni is a visual novel by 07th expansion, they also did Higurashi. By name you probably think that this is a sequel to Higurashi but it isn't, there are only some things that these both have in common like they both are mystery stories.
