Analog Discovery 2 (AD2) Scope Introduction Video #1A
A scope, oscilloscope or digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) lets someone view the shape of an analog or digital signal for use in understanding the operation of a circuit. First we will describe the purpose of a scope and how it is connected in our test circuit. Before the series ends we will play with some of the parameters and settings in the scope software to dial in to the detail of the waveform we are viewing. This video will cover the scope display, the math behind the graph where the waveform appears, scope connections to a circuit, and some of the optional equipment that can be used with the AD2 scope.
