An introduction to creating analog signals using the Analog Discovery 2 and Waveforms software, the wavegen section. Signal generators can create common shape signals like sine waves, square waves, pulses, sawtooth, and a few other common shapes. An arbitrary waveform generator allows you to create and customize waveform shapes. The wavegen portion of Waveforms software fills both functions but is limited to a maximum of +/-5V signal because of it being a USB-based device.
