Simple FK Rig in Maya
This tutorial shows you how to make a super basic rigging using a simple universal FK (forward kinematic) control setup. This works for any basic rig setup you need. It is easy to setup and intuitive to use. It's great for basic props and simple models, and in a pinch could even be used for a super basic character setup.
