Daimasa Kushima (3rd year) in the 8th district did not connect Tasuki to Hiroki Ouchi (4th year) in the 9th district. Kushima was visible from the Totsuka relay station, but Ouchi departed because the default 20 minutes had passed since the top Seigaku University passed. Kushima arrived at the relay station 7 seconds after Ouchi departed.
Nippon Sport Science University ranked 20th in the 6th ward and 19th in the 7th ward.
Seigaku University, which keeps the lead, was running in the 7th ward with Daiki Kishimoto running in the 1st place record in the section of 1 hour 2 minutes 39 seconds, and the difference gradually widened.
