Our clients love their rooftop decks, but unfortunately, they tend to fail in a mixed climate zone like Atlanta. Most designs call for a wood-framed sleeper system on a membrane roof. This can fill up with leaves and make the membrane impossible to maintain. These typically last 10 years before they need to be repaired.
