Venting a metal roof with ridge vent closures.
We are installing corrugated metal on a house roof that had shingles. The old roof had the standard box tumbler vents, which wouldn’t work for metal panels. We chose to go with vented ridge which is the cleanest and simplest way that I’ve found to vent a metal roof. The vented closures replace the standard foam closures under the ridge cap. This combined with vented soffit is a good way to keep the roof breathing.
