Luv PARADE - Video Message | Japan (2024)
After a span of 11 years, 'Luv PARADE' announced their resumption of activities on April 1, 2022. The members consist of Guitar.Karyu, Bass.ZERO, and Drums.TSUKASA from D’ESPAIRSRAY, who successfully held solo performances in Germany and France in 2004 and have been active in and out of Japan.
D’ESPAIRSRAY held concerts in nine European countries including Germany, France, and the UK in 2006, recording a total of 15,000 attendees. They later participated as the only Japanese band in Europe's largest metal festival, 'Wacken Open Air'. After taking part in
Los Angeles's 'J-ROCK REVOLUTION', Finland's 'TUSKA OPEN AIR 2007', and 'RUISROCK 2007', they embarked on solo tours in Spain and Sweden. In 2008, they participated in 'ROCKSTAR taste of CHAOS 2008' held in 34 cities across the U.S. Vocal.TAKA (now known as defspiral) also appeared in the same event as 'the Underneath', where they met and formed a bond.
Later, D’ESPAIRSRAY expanded their activities to Asia but announced their disbandment in June 2011. Although they couldn't perform a disbanding concert, they appeared as a session band under
the name Luv PARADE during the 2009 D’ESPAIRSRAY TOUR 'PSYCHEDELIC PARADE'. At this event, TAKA,who had been acquainted with them since 'ROCKSTAR taste of CHAOS 2008', took on the role of vocalist, interacting with D’ESPAIRSRAY's fans.
After resuming activities, Luv PARADE arranged and performed songs from artists like D’ESPAIRSRAY, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Björk, and Celine Dion. They hosted the event 'DEVIL’S PARTY' at Spotify O-EAST and Shinjuku BLAZE, holding it three times, and saw success primarily with bands they've
had long-standing relationships with.
In March 2023, they held their first solo tour performances in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Moreover, on September 9 of the same year, marking D’ESPAIRSRAY's anniversary of formation,
they held a solo performance and released a limited-edition original song called 'NEW WORLD'.
This song, with lyrics by TAKA and composed by Karyu, embodies their determination to achieve
a new world with the current members and to aim for even greater heights. While they conduct
events and solo activities regularly within Japan, fans from both domestic and international locations were spotted at the September 9 solo performance, and they continue to receive support
from overseas.Starting from January 5, 2024, the "WAKE UP and REVOLT" Tour 2024 will commence.
