Alex Black - The Contortionist - "Godspeed" (Polyrhythm) - Transcription
Thought i'd share with ya'll this tastyyyy polyrhythm from the 2nd verse of "Godspeed" by The Contortionist from the 2017 album "Clairvoyant" - shout out @johnnycdrums (insta) for explaining this one on his instagram story a little while back! Triplets at 120bpm, snare on 2+4, stack on every 4th triplet but everything is displaced by one per cycle!
"Clairvoyant" is probably one of my most listened too albums in recent times, the drumming and general musicality on this album is absolutely amazing IMO.
