Ahnaf and Rebecca meet in The Hague’s Chinatown, right in the city centre. Rebecca was born and raised here and feels a special connection to this neighbourhood, as her mother is Chinese. Ahnaf grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and moved here four and a half years ago, though he also lived in China when he was little.

Every country and city has its own unique character! Ahnaf loves how nature and city life can go hand in hand, with the Haagse Bos just around the corner. Rebecca fell in love with Korea(n food) during her semester abroad. Sit back, watch, and get a taste of culture and student life in The Hague.

Some insider tips: try some Korean food, visit the Chinese bakery (especially for their sponge cake), and don’t miss out on a crème brûlée bubble tea.
