Similarities between ancient Ethiopia and Vedic India.
The advanced Indus Valley Civilisation was a major player in ancient maritime trade. Goods reaching present-day Ethiopia included beads, seals, and pottery and more.
The kingdom of Aksum, which reached its height around the
end of the 3rd century AD, was a major centre of international trade.
Later, Abyssinia was an ancient region in the Horn of Africa. Goods traded between India and there included spices, textiles, silk and precious stones.
It is perhaps not surprising then - - that there are many cultural similarities between India and present-day Ethiopia.
