JVC Videosphere TV Model 3240 - Weirdest TV Ever Made - 1970s
This JVC Videosphere TV is considered to be the weirdest TV ever made. It was heavily influenced by NASA and the space program as were many electronic items designed in the early 1970s. It really looks like a space helmet! It is designed to be portable - it has a battery power connection for an optional battery or plug in to a car cigarette lighter. The base allows adjustment by sliding around on an axis track or detachment to be carried around as a Videosphere portable TV!
