Atari Floppy Diskette Clock
Repurposed floppy disk project. This battery powered analog clock was made by cutting a clock backing out of a thick piece of opaque acrylic, a clock motor salvaged from Goodwill, an Atari 5.25 inch floppy diskette and storage sleeve, and a plastic clock face cover. The Atari floppy diskette was adhered to the clock backing then covered over with several clear coats of polyurethane. Gold hour numbers were placed around the edges of the clock.
