Dr. Phyllis Zee, the Benjamin and Virginia T. Boshes Professor in Neurology and Professor of Neurobiology at Northwestern University, was joined by Dr. Teshamae Monteith, Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology and the Chief of the Headache Division at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Dr. Elaine Peskind, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the University of Washington in Seattle, to discuss the impact of stress on brain function, the role of sleep in brain health and managing stress, and strategies for reducing stress. Dr. Peskind and Dr. Monteith answered questions from audience members about stress inducing migraines and tips for discussing accommodations for stress with an employer.
