Welcome to the wonderful world of ants!

Ants have found their way to navigate since millions of years, but only now we are able to understand how. So: how do ants navigate?

For instance, you probably know that ants use their antennas to navigate the world; but what about visual landmarks?

And, how does an ant brain can process a path? Do ants have a good memory? If you’re curious about all these aspects, watch this video and feel free to ask me if you have any questions. I’ll be happy to share more information!

Terminology connecting to ants sense of direction:

Ocelli: eyes belonging to the winged ants to detect light.
