Until I Found You - Stephen Sanchez (Soft Acoustic Cover)
Hi everyone :) It’s been awhile hasn’t it?
I just graduated from University this last May with a bachelors in Graphic Design, a bachelors in Studio Art, and a minor in Bible. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen some of the chaos on my stories. This last school year was the busiest I’ve ever been, and that’s why you haven’t heard much from me.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve recorded a cover, that I’ve almost become shy…? Every time I sat down to record I just couldn’t bring myself to finish. I’ve definitely been really hard on myself.
I think the quality of my covers has always been an insecurity of mine. Making covers just started as a hobby, but slowly and slowly more people began following/subscribing to me, and I suddenly felt very large expectations for myself. I only wanted to put out the very best because so many people were watching. This as a result, made creating covers a lot more lengthy of a process and difficult. And the lengthiness and difficulty made covers seem more like a chore than something fun.
I have returned today with a cover because July 5th actually marks 5 years of me being on YouTube. Even though I have updated absolutely nothing in over a year, I wanted to post something to commemorate my time here :)
Thank you for those who have stayed! I am hoping to begin uploading again. Covering songs that I like, and songs that make me happy. “Until I Found You” is one of those songs that I think has a beautiful meaning and charming melody.
