5 SP404 MK2 Synth Recipes You Need to Try! // Sound Generator is a Sound Design Secret Weapon!
Today we’re going to make 5 varied synth sounds using just internal sounds from the SP404 MK2 Sound Generator. The Sound Generator on it's own can make decent enough sounding synths, but utilizing multiple waveforms and the 4.04 updates "Merge Sample" feature, you can get some ridiculously lush sounds out of this machine. Add in resampling through the internal effects and you'll be shocked what type of sounds you can make without any external input or expensive synths and plugins. With the SP's chromatic mode and scales you can turn the box into a fully fledged synthesizer and fx box.
