Your Song - Ukulele
This Cover of Elton John's "Your Song" is for my wife, Connie, (The "con" in "degcon" ) for putting up with my incessant uke'n. It features the evil "Mr. Peepers" whose bath I was interrupting and he seemed not to appreciate it very much.
Wikipedia has a good wrtie-up on this song ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Your_Song ) but fails to mention that the best version of it is on Elton's Live in Austrailia album. This is also the first video I've made with my newly aquired Kamaka "gold label" tenor ukulele. She is sporting D'Addario Hawaiian Strings, which I think give it a nice traditional uke sound. Sorry that she needs a "haircut" but the bridge pins seem a little loose and I'm worried one might go flying and I'll have to re-string her.
