The Chicago Board OF Trade is the city’s oldest grain futures and options exchange. Tall windows on the building faced north for the best light. Farmers would bring
samples of their grains to be inspected before being sold to grain traders.
The 4 Art Deco Bulls designed on a band which runs right in line with the giant carved out name of the building were a tonbue-in-cheek reference by the architects to a bull market!
